Dean Rickles is senior research fellow in the Unit for History and Philosophy of Science at the University of Sydney. His primary research focus is the history and philosophy of spacetime physics. His books include The Structural Foundations of Quantum Gravity (Oxford University Press, 2006), Symmetry, Structure, and Spacetime (Elsevier, 2008), and The Ashgate Companion to Contemporary Philosophy of Physics (Ashgate 2009).
