Shaul Katzir

Shaul Katzir (born in 1970) is currently a Marie Curie senior research fellow of the Gerda Henkel Foundation at the Minerva Humanities Center, Tel Aviv University. He has held a number of research fellowships in Europe and Israel, among others at the joint project History and Foundations of Quantum Physics. His research focuses on the history of physics and technology and their interactions in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. In addition to revolutionary fields like quantum mechanics and relativity, he has explored “mundane” fields of scientific activity like piezoelectricity.
